Mary graduated from Occidental College in 2014 with a B.A. in Critical Theory and Social Justice. She then attended Simmons University and obtained a Master of Arts in Gender/Cultural Studies & Master of Science in Education. Mary also earned her J.D. in 2023 from the University of Maine School of Law. While in law school, she was awarded the Susan Calkins Public Interest Fellowship and the Faculty Scholastic Achievement Award. She also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Ocean & Coastal Law Journal.
In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her partner and daughter.
