Trevor represents municipalities, businesses, and individuals in a wide range of complex litigation and advisory matters. He regularly advises municipalities on governance, collective bargaining agreements, election issues, code enforcement actions, and related litigation. His practice includes employment and labor litigation in state and federal courts, insurance coverage disputes, boundary and title-related litigation, and commercial and corporate disputes. He also counsels corporations, LLCs, and small businesses on risk management, compliance, and the development of workplace policies and employee handbooks.
Trevor has appeared before state and federal courts throughout New England and before agencies including Maine Human Rights Commission, Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. He has successfully defended municipalities and companies in high-stakes employment cases, achieve favorable settlements in enforcement actions, and obtained dismissals of multi-faceted claims against his clients.
- Obtaining summary judgment in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts on a multi-faceted discrimination and retaliation action in favor of small business.
- Obtaining multiple no probable cause findings in state anti-discrimination agencies, including the Maine Human Rights Commission, Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and Massachusetts Commission against Discrimination.
- Obtaining dismissal in the United States District Court for Massachusetts in favor of a large insurer involving a claim of breach of fiduciary duty.
- Obtaining favorable settlements and dismissals for corporations, LLCs and small businesses in enforcement actions from government agencies.
Trevor received his J.D./MBA from Suffolk University Law School. He received a B.S. in Management from Providence College.
Raised in New England, Trevor has strong ties to the region and values the opportunity to represent Maine municipalities, businesses, and individuals. Outside of the office, he enjoys hiking mountains, running in various long-distance races, and spending time with his family.
