Jordan Payne Hay to Address Chamber of Commerce

Skelton Taintor & Abbott associate attorney Jordan Payne Hay will be the featured speaker at the Jay, Livermore, Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce breakfast on April 6, 2017. The topic is intellectual property, and Attorney Hay will focus on various aspects of trademarks, such as the reasons to get a trademark, how to register, where to register, as well as the benefits of registering and pitfalls of not registering. Hay is a graduate of Bowdoin College and Northeastern University of Law. In law school, she served as managing editor of the Northeastern Law Journal, worked as a legal intern for the United States Attorney’s Office Civil Division in Portland and as judicial intern for the Honorable Norman H. Stahl of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Hay also worked as a McKeen Fellow for the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project while attending Bowdoin, and continues to volunteer pro bono for the VLP.
