BANGOR — Equal Rights Maine is hosting a panel discussion of the Equal Rights Amendment 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Bangor Public Library, 145 Harlow St. A panel of Maine attorneys will discuss sex discrimination in Maine and how well our laws and courts protect women. Panelists are: Kathleen Caldwell, retired attorney specializing in poverty law and Rebecca S. Webber, attorney specializing in employment and civil right litigation. Nancy Murdock of Equal Rights Maine will moderate the panel discussion.
