Ms. Hay will discuss issues related to family medical leave, Maine sick leave, and disability accommodation. The presentation will be interactive and will include topics like: what employers need to know when employees ask for time off due to illness; how do the FMLA and the ADA relate to one another; and what questions an employer is allowed to ask regarding employee health issues.
