Skelton, Taintor & Abbott attorneys serve as advisors for Maine High School Mock Trial Competition

AUBURN, Maine – Skelton, Taintor & Abbott attorneys Ronald P. Lebel, Darcie P.L. Beaudin, Adam R. Lee and Thomas Faiella served as advisors/coaches to Lewiston High School’s Mock Trial Team that recently finished runner-up in the finals of the state-wide Maine competition.

The Mock Trial Competition is a law-focused program designed to give students an operational understanding of the law, legal issues and the judicial process. It provides an inspirational learning experience in an exciting and fun environment. Year after year the students display outstanding preparation and performance.

Lebel, who has served as a judge and evaluator of the competition for several years, noted, “All of us in the firm who helped the Lewiston High School Team to its first-ever appearance in the state finals found the experience to be greatly rewarding. The students worked very hard and achieved impressive results. Our firm intends to continue to support the team in years to come as part of our firm’s commitment to the communities we serve.”
